Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Powdered sugar
1 cups Butter or margarine
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon Almond extract
2 1/2 cups Flour
1 teaspoons Baking soda
1 teaspoons Cream of tartar
Directions
Mix powdered sugar,margarine,egg and vanilla and almond extract. Mix in flour,baking soda and cream of tartar. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Divide dough into halves. Roll out 1/2 inch thick on a lightly floured board. Cut the dough into animal shapes with cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 10 minutes.
